FourLeaf Federal Credit Union Earns Great Place to Work® Again

Certification highlights commitment to people-first, community culture  amid growth and rebranding

FourLeaf Federal Credit Union has once again earned Great Place to Work® certification for the third consecutive year, a recognition that underscores the organization’s dedication to its employees and community as it grows and evolves following its recent rebrand from Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

According to the certification survey, 88% of FourLeaf employees say it is a great place to work, well above the national average of 57% for U.S. companies. Employees cited a welcoming environment, strong camaraderie, flexibility, and pride in the organization’s community impact as defining features of their workplace experience.

The timing of the recognition is particularly meaningful. As FourLeaf recently rebranded (formerly Bethpage Federal Credit Union) and continues to expand, leadership has made preserving its long-standing, community-focused culture a top priority.

“Rebranding is not simply about a new logo or name,” said Linda Armyn, President and CEO. “It’s about ensuring that as we grow, every branch, product, and hire feels rooted in the same spirit of service and care that has defined us for decades.”

To balance growth with culture, FourLeaf has put several intentional practices in place, including:

  • Pairing new employees with veteran mentors to pass along values and traditions
  • Encouraging teams to engage directly with local nonprofits and community initiatives
  • Hosting frequent listening sessions and town halls to maintain open communication between staff and leadership
  • Empowering branches to tailor solutions to their communities, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness

With nearly 1,000 team members, FourLeaf continues to recruit talent with shared values and a passion for community. According to Glassdoor reviews, current employees rate FourLeaf at 4.7 out of 5, with 93% indicating they would recommend the organization to a friend. On Indeed, the organization holds a 4.1 overall rating – employees commonly cite work-life balance, a supportive, caring environment, competitive benefits and rewards and opportunity for career growth as strengths.

These strengths were also reflected in the Great Place to Work® survey:

  • 96% say new employees are made to feel welcome
  • 94% say they feel proud of the ways the organization contributes to its communities
  • 92% feel confident in taking time off when needed
  • 91% agree that people genuinely care about one another

“Culture is not something we simply celebrate—it’s something we actively protect and grow,” said Melissa Feeny, Chief Administrative Officer. “With every new branch, product, or team member, we are deliberate in carrying forward the family-first, service-driven spirit that defines FourLeaf.”

FourLeaf’s dedication to community is made possible by motivated employees who live and serve in those communities. Through its Charitable Giving Program, FourLeaf supports causes spanning educational initiatives, hunger relief, and health programs. The credit union also offers free financial seminars, credit counseling, and annual scholarships to local students.

The Great Place to Work® Certification is determined through employee feedback and an independent analysis of workplace practices. For FourLeaf, the recognition affirms that even amid expansion, it remains true to its purpose: being a trusted financial partner that serves members with heart, while ensuring its people feel valued and connected.

Formerly Bethpage Federal Credit Union, FourLeaf has been serving its members for more than 80 years. With nearly 1,000 employees nationwide, it continues to provide accessible, affordable financial services while staying deeply engaged with the communities it calls home.
