Cyclum Renewables LLC, a renewable energy travel center company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Zulema Garcia, CPA, as Independent Board Member to the Board of Directors. Ms. Garcia’s appointment underscores Cyclum’s commitment to enhancing its financial and operational strategies as the company continues to scale.
With more than 30 years of experience in accounting, audit, financial analysis, and operations, Ms. Garcia brings a wealth of expertise to Cyclum’s Board. Her career spans senior leadership roles at some of the world’s largest organizations, including her recent role as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Indirect Procurement and Spend Management at Herbalife, where she successfully led a team of 120 professionals across three global regions. During her tenure, she managed over $1.1 billion in annual indirect spend and achieved over $45 million in savings annually while advancing the company’s sustainability efforts. Ms. Garcia’s experience also includes her tenure as Audit Partner at KPMG LLP, where she was a lead engagement partner for multinational corporations, and worked across a diverse range of sectors, including energy.
Ms. Garcia is currently a member and serves on the Audit and Nominating & Governance committees of the Board of Directors at Skechers, a Fortune 500 consumer products company based in Manhattan Beach, CA. Skechers has annual revenues of $9.0 billion and a market cap of $9.99 billion.
