University of Utah Modernizes Campus Engagement with Launch of Utah 360

Utah 360 App Unites Multiple Campus Apps in One Platform

The University of Utah, Utah’s flagship higher education and research institution, in partnership with Pathify, the leading digital engagement hub for higher education, announced the official launch of Utah 360 — a modern mobile experience unifying multiple campus apps into one cohesive platform for students, staff, alumni and sports fans.

Utah 360 consolidates and replaces multiple apps, including a legacy athletics app, general campus app, ticketing platform and an alumni portal. The new Utah 360 experience is personalized to each campus user’s interests and needs including:

  • Students: UCard balance access, campus events, safety notifications, campus maps, bus routes, student groups and helpful resources
  • Athletics fans: Access sporting event tickets, get game-day notifications, view game schedules and stats, use mobile concessions and find parking
  • Alumni: Stay connected with the U for news, events and alumni information
  • Faculty and staff: UCard balances, news, notifications and internal tools

“The Utah 360 app helps every member of the U community streamline communication, so they’re getting the relevant and useful information they want and need in one location,” said Jeff Labrum, Chief Operating Officer.

The Office of the Chief Operating Officer spearheaded the project, recognizing the need for an easier digital experience. Prior to Utah 360, various standalone app solutions were developed and maintained independently across departments, resulting in inconsistent user experiences, content redundancies and functionality gaps.

“Utah 360 perfectly captures the spirit of what Pathify does — bring clarity, simplicity and personalization to the higher ed experience,” said Chase Williams, Pathify CEO and Co-Founder. “We’re proud to fundamentally reimagine how people interact with universities digitally.”

Pathify’s Engagement Hub platform was selected during a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process in February 2025, with the COO’s Office noting its ability to serve numerous audiences in a single, modern interface — all while supporting scalable growth and future enhancements.
