Trinity

The addition of the Zanjero team strategically positions Trinity for continued growth and innovation in the water and ecology services space.

Trinity Consultants, a leading global environmental consulting firm providing services and solutions in the EHS regulatory compliance, built environment, life sciences, and water and ecology markets, today announced its acquisition of Zanjero Inc., an engineering and water planning consultancy based in California.

Zanjero joins Trinity’s Water & Ecology team of experts from Trinity’s previous acquisitions of WestLand Engineering and Environmental Services, Soundview Consultants, Ecofish Research, Minnow Environmental, AWN Consulting, Vision Environment and ECOSA.

“Zanjero shares our commitment to scientific excellence, environmental ethics and exceptional responsiveness to address complex regulations and resource challenges,” said Mike Remsberg, divisional president of Water & Ecology at Trinity. “Given its specialized expertise in providing strategic water resource planning services to cities, counties and water service providers throughout California and the Western U.S., Zanjero enables us to deliver a more extensive suite of solutions to better meet our clients’ growing needs.”

Founded in 2022, Zanjero is a premier water resources firm that bridges the gap between traditional engineering firms and traditional law firms by synthesizing the legal, technical, economic and political elements that permeate water issues and water plans. Zanjero provides extensive expertise around water planning, political dynamics, financial impacts, regulatory and legal mandates, and technical realities to advise, manage and solve clients’ most complex water challenges. Zanjero’s unique ability to transcend both complex legal and technical water resource matters differentiates the firm within its core service areas.

“The Trinity acquisition marks a pivotal chapter in our company’s growth trajectory,” said Jim Crowley, partner at Zanjero. “This partnership allows us to build on our successes and collectively expand our geographic footprint, provide greater opportunities for career advancement, and better serve our people, clients and communities in North America and beyond.”

Zanjero will operate as a business unit within Trinity’s Water & Ecology division, ensuring continuity for clients and staff. The firm’s leadership team—Jim Crowley, Greg Young and Gwyn-Mohr Tully—will remain in place and work closely with Remsberg and the broader Trinity leadership team to expand and enhance solutions.
