Trinity Consultants

Safety Partners strengthens Trinity’s ability to blend rigorous science and industry expertise to solve clients’ complex pharmaceutical development, safety and facility design challenges.

Trinity Consultants, a leading global environmental consulting firm providing services and solutions in the EHS regulatory compliance, life sciences, built environment, and water and ecology markets, today announced the acquisition of Safety Partners, a safety and compliance consultancy based in Massachusetts with a growing presence in New York, North Carolina and California. Safety Partners provides services throughout the U.S. Since its inception in 1992, Safety Partners has delivered EHS programs to science and technology organizations working with hazardous materials, equipment and processes. The company is committed to keeping scientists and engineers safe, their labs compliant, and their operations running smoothly, and ensuring that they are focused on the next scientific breakthrough, from lab design to product development. This acquisition will further strengthen Trinity’s position as a market leader in the life sciences industry’s health and safety space.

“Safety Partners shares our ambition to combine scientific rigor, industry knowledge and responsiveness to create a safer, more efficient life cycle for pharmaceuticals and therapeutic products,” said Chuck Buttry, operations director in Trinity’s Life Sciences Division. “The company’s complementary services, combined with its cultural synergies, will serve as a foundation to expand our life sciences business.”

Safety Partners joins Trinity’s Life Sciences team, which includes experts from Trinity’s prior acquisitions of Advent Engineering Services, Aztec Technologies, SafeBridge Consultants and WorkingBuildings.

“We’re thrilled to partner with a global health and safety life science consulting firm that will build on and extend our ability to deliver workplace safety and compliance programs that are smart, tailored and rightsized for science and technology clients,” said Jennifer Reilly, president and chief operating officer at Safety Partners. “We have collaborated with Trinity for over a decade, delivering innovation for clients in the life sciences R&D and manufacturing space. This partnership will accelerate our geographic expansion by leveraging Trinity’s footprint of existing offices across North America and the world.”

Reilly will work closely with Buttry and Trinity’s Life Sciences team to deliver client-focused solutions and identify internal and external growth opportunities.

David N. Deutsch & Co. advised Safety Partners on its sale to Trinity Consultants.
