TRC Companies, Inc. This is the second year TRC achieved an A- rating, placing the company in the Leadership band. Scoring in CDP’s Leadership band demonstrates TRC’s dedication and commitment to lowering emissions and the company’s impact on a more sustainable future.
As part of TRC’s Net Zero by 2040 commitment, the company purchases 100 percent renewable energy for our 140 offices, and in the 2024 reporting year, TRC reduced our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 30 percent over our baseline in 2019.
TRC’s strategic focus is helping clients adapt to and mitigate climate risk through transformative solutions that further the energy transition. TRC’s team of 8,000+ practitioners assists clients with planning and implementing decarbonization strategies; exploring and executing new technologies (e.g., hydrogen, RNG, CCUS); designing and applying resiliency strategies and solutions; and navigating voluntary and mandatory climate disclosures. In fiscal year 2024, 67 percent of TRC’s gross revenue was derived from climate-related solutions.
