Series A Funding Led by Strategic Healthcare Executives

TadHealth, a leading provider of mental health technology solutions for schools, announced the successful completion of its $5.5 Million dollar Series A funding round, led byseasoned healthcare executives. The multimillion-dollar investment, backed by a powerful consortium of healthcare and education investors, will propel TadHealth’s mission to transform mental health support in K-12 education by expanding its platform and scaling its services nationwide.

Joining the Series A round and board are Robin Richards, Sabrina Horn, and notable healthcare figures, including Jim Hudziak, M.D., a clinician-scientist in neuropsychiatry. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Hudziak specializes in brain health promotion, illness prevention, and intervention strategies. He is internationally recognized for his work on the impact of environment, genetics, and epigenetics on brain development and health.

“The youth mental health crisis in our school communities nationwide is an urgent challenge, and TadHealth is leading the way in delivering scalable, effective solutions for students, educators, and families,” said board member Dr. James Hudziak. “We are proud to support TadHealth’s vision and believe in its potential to redefine how mental health services are accessed and reimbursed in educational settings.”

Expanding Mental Health Access in Schools

Since its inception in 2018, TadHealth has played a critical role in the school-based mental health technology landscape. The company was born out of a deeply personal mission—its founder’s firsthand experience struggling to find mental health resources for a loved one during a crisis. Today, one in three students still don’t know where to turn when helping a friend in crisis. TadHealth ensures that the right resources are available at the right time, supporting present well-being and future success for students.

“At TadHealth, we believe that every student deserves easy access to mental health support. This funding will help us expand our reach and empower schools to provide the care students need when they need it most,” said Ben Greiner, Founder and CEO of TadHealth. “We are committed to scaling a platform that not only enhances mental health services but also eases the burden on school counselors and mental health professionals.”

Early Investors and Growth Acceleration

TadHealth’s early success was made possible by key oversubscribed funding round partners, including Halcyon Venture Partners, USC Viterbi School of Engineering Venture Fund, Halcyon Angels, and RevFund, who contributed to a $1.6 million initial funding round.

Originally incubated as a resident team at the USC Viterbi Startup Garage, TadHealth rapidly evolved into a scaling enterprise healthcare SaaS company. The new funding will support TadHealth’s expansion efforts in response to rising demand from schools, districts, and institutions addressing youth mental health challenges. This includes enhancing product capabilities, strengthening its presence in the K-12 market, and further integrating Medicaid reimbursement solutions for sustainable mental health support.
