Sustainserv

The September 23rd event will take place at Qlik’s Empire State Building location and allow NYC Climate Week participants to explore how AI is reshaping corporate sustainability

Sustainserv, a global management consulting firm that helps clients integrate sustainability strategies into their business operations, today announced a timely Climate Week NYC event that will explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the landscape of corporate sustainability and ESG reporting. Organized by Sustainserv, the event is in partnership with several pioneering groups, including Qlik, an AI-powered data integration and analytics solutions company, Palau, an AI-powered ESG reporting company, Ideas on Purpose, a creative agency specializing in sustainability brand communication and digital services, and 3BL Media, a media company that helps businesses turn responsible actions into communications that build trust, mitigate reputational risk, and deliver measurable business results.

The event, entitled “How AI is Disrupting Sustainability Reporting,” will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. ET at the Empire State Building in New York City. Sustainserv’s Managing Partner, Dr. Matthew Gardner, alongside leaders from Qlik, Palau, Ideas on Purpose, and 3BL Media, will share their expertise in an interactive workshop and discussion about how AI continues to revolutionize how companies are approaching sustainability and what the future holds in this exciting and dynamic space. The panel will be followed by a Q&A and reception for speakers and guests.

“AI represents a paradigm shift for corporations focused on developing ESG strategies,” said Dr. Gardner of Sustainserv. “The opportunity to collaborate with leaders in the AI and sustainability sector, such as Qlik, Palau, Ideas on Purpose, and 3BL Media, allows us to better collect and compile large quantities of ESG data, build robust models, analyze trends, and help companies communicate their aspirations and achievements to their stakeholders.”

These trailblazing companies in the ESG, communications, AI, and business intelligence space will share valuable perspectives on both the benefits and shortcomings of using AI in the sustainability sector.

“At Qlik, our business is helping companies use data to make better business decisions,” said Julie Kae, Vice President of Sustainability and Social Impact and Executive Director of Qlik. “In the sustainability sector, the power of AI helps us organize and analyze massive amounts of data that translate into actionable insights and real impacts.”

In July, Sustainserv announced a technology partnership with Palau to advance sustainability strategy and reporting through AI. The Climate Week NYC event is a continuation of this work and further highlights Sustainserv’s investment in technological innovation, as well as the company’s commitment to staying at the forefront of sustainability services.
