Sowell Management Symposium to Explore Future Wealth Trends

Event will provide insider insights, hands-on strategy sessions, exclusive networking opportunities

Sowell Management, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and trusted partner to financial advisors nationwide, has announced it will host an exclusive investment symposium in Laguna Beach, California. The event, held April 28-30, will bring together a select group of financial advisors from across the country to discuss emerging opportunities, exchange insights and collaborate with top industry voices on the future of wealth management.

Founded more than two decades ago on the principles of fee-based fiduciary investment, Sowell Management focuses on delivering turnkey asset management solutions. With more than $5.5 billion* in AUM/AUA as of April 2025, they provide a platform of services and solutions that lead advisors on the path of independence, including end-to-end technology and portfolio management.

Bill Sowell, Founder and CEO of Sowell Management, credits the firm’s long-standing success to one core principle: relationships come first.

“Since day one, we’ve focused on building real relationships with the advisors we serve,” Sowell said. “That’s how we’ve grown and evolved — by listening carefully to what advisors need and delivering on those needs with purpose. This symposium is another example of how we bring that philosophy to life.”

The event will provide participants with insider insights, hands-on strategy sessions and exclusive networking opportunities in a highly curated, intimate environment. Advisors will have the opportunity to engage with Sowell’s investment partners and industry leaders in meaningful, one-on-one conversations.

Jason Hsu, Founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Rayliant Global Advisors, will deliver a keynote address, focusing on investment platform innovation and case study leadership. Rayliant, known for its data-driven and tax-aware OCIO advisory services, will showcase how customized, risk-targeted models can differentiate advisor offerings. Additional sessions will feature insights from Goldman SachsGeoWealth and Forum Investment Group, covering the latest in technology integration, portfolio management and emerging trends in alternative investments.

Daryl Seaton, President of Sowell Management, said, “We’ve created a setting where advisors can ask the real questions, get real answers, and walk away with actionable ideas.”

The agenda will also highlight the distinctive advantages of Sowell Management’s enhanced investment management platform and OCIO services. Advisors will explore the firm’s expanded product suite, which includes in-depth research from Rayliant Global Advisors and institutional portfolio construction from Goldman Sachs Asset Managementdelivered through the expertise of the Sowell Affinity OCIO team.

The symposium aligns with Sowell Management’s mission to help advisors focus on what they do best — being in front of clients — while trusting the company and its partners to deliver the solutions that drive success.

“We are proud and excited to make this symposium possible,” Sowell said. “It’s an impressive lineup of speakers and sessions tailored to the topics advisors are most interested in right now. And we have structured it with room for networking and one-on-one time.

“We plan to continue to offer these targeted, high-impact gatherings, bringing the right advisors and opportunities to the table. The future, we believe, lies in collaboration — and in empowering our advisors with the new and evolving services that are available to better serve their clients and grow their practices.”
