Center Expertise

Rehlko, a global leader in energy resilience and security, announced today that it closed the previously announced acquisition of The Wilmott Group, a premier U.K.-based supplier of critical back-up power solutions. The Wilmott Group will integrate into Rehlko’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) operations, making Rehlko one of the few OEMs to offer true end-to-end service in the EMEA region.

Representing a significant milestone in Rehlko’s growth strategy, the acquisition allows Rehlko to expand its footprint and capabilities in the fast-growing data center market across EMEA. By combining The Wilmott Group’s decades of engineering expertise and operational excellence in design, testing, installation, and lifecycle support with Rehlko’s superior energy resilience products, Rehlko will ensure its customers in data centers, healthcare, education and other mission-critical sections are supported with reliable, future-ready solutions to meet their evolving energy needs.

“This is an exciting moment for Rehlko as we bring The Wilmott Group into our family,” said Brian Melka, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rehlko. “We’re thrilled to provide our customers with even greater impact, especially as we deepen our collaboration in the data center space throughout the U.K. and Europe. Together, we’re well positioned to transform the energy resilience and security industry through enhanced efficiency and cutting-edge solutions.”

As part of Rehlko’s EMEA operations, The Wilmott Group – including WB Power Services (WBPS) and Wiltech Acoustics – will gain access to expanded resources, global expertise, and advanced manufacturing capabilities. WBPS’s project engineering expertise will scale Rehlko’s ability to execute complex data center projects, strengthening its leadership in this fast-growing sector. Wiltech Acoustics’ in-house production capabilities will reduce lead times, improve operational agility, and better address dynamic market demands. With 19 U.K. locations and support for over 4,000 critical power plants, The Wilmott Group’s local presence complements Rehlko’s global reach, enabling more responsive, customer-focused service.

Andy Wilmott, Co-CEO and Chairman of The Wilmott Group, added, “Joining Rehlko marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for The Wilmott Group. Our complementary capabilities will drive new innovation in the energy resilience industry to best serve our customers across critical sectors and meet the increasing demand for reliable back-up power solutions.”
