PowerSecure, a subsidiary of Southern Company and a leading provider of innovative energy solutions, today announced its alliance with Edged, a premier developer of ultra-efficient, sustainable data centers and next-generation digital infrastructure, to supply advanced power distribution solutions to Edged data centers across the United States.
The announcement marks an expansion of the organizations’ alliance, which initially started with the Edged Atlanta campus that commenced commercial operations in August 2024. To date, PowerSecure and Edged have collaborated on projects in several major U.S. markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Des Moines, Kansas City and Phoenix. To date, PowerSecure has provided 152 MW of critical load capacity to Edged data centers and is committed to providing power as their footprint expands.
