Nomi Health Joins the Association for Community Affiliated Plans to Support Not-for-Profit Safety Net Health Plans

Nomi Health, a leading direct healthcare company, today announced its selection as an Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) Preferred Vendor. A national trade association, ACAP represents not-for-profit Safety Net Health Plans across the country. Nomi Health looks forward to working with ACAP to strengthen the association’s mission of improving equitable health outcomes for people with limited resources or significant health needs.

ACAP-member plans serve more than 30 million enrollees through Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace plans, and other public health programs. Its vision focuses on creating a country where high-quality, affordable healthcare is accessible regardless of income, delivered through coordinated care entities.

“ACAP has consistently championed the needs of vulnerable populations, and we are happy to join the Preferred Vendor program to assist ACAP-member plans in their drive to make our healthcare system more innovative and equitable,” said Sara Ratner, President of Integrated Programs at Nomi Health. “Through this partnership, I look forward to advancing initiatives that drive innovation and equity and democratize access within our healthcare system.”

A Proven Leader in Transforming Healthcare

At Nomi Health, Sara Ratner leads the company’s Integrated Programs, including the Nexus program, which provides real-time access to care for hard-to-reach populations. With extensive experience in healthcare innovation and leadership—including executive roles at Icario, RedBrick Health, and CVS CareMark, as well as co-founding Proximal Health—Ratner is dedicated to advancing solutions that improve access, equity, and efficiency in healthcare.

“ACAP is delighted to welcome Nomi Health as a Preferred Vendor,” said ACAP CEO Margaret A. Murray. “Our Safety Net Health Plans look forward to learning more about the ways Nomi Health aims to enhance care delivery, reduce costs, and improve health outcomes for the people they serve.”

Advancing Equity Through Collaboration

Nomi Health, a leading direct healthcare company, shares ACAP’s commitment to creating a transparent, efficient, and accessible healthcare system. Nomi Health’s integrated programs emphasize coordinated care management, direct contracting, and analytics-driven decision-making, aligning closely with ACAP’s goals. As a new ACAP Preferred Vendor, Ratner aims to leverage her extensive experience in public health programs and innovative care solutions to support not-for-profit Safety Net Health Plans in delivering high-quality, coordinated care to underserved populations.
