Muinzer, a privately held real estate investment firm specializing in student housing, is pleased to announce the hiring of Kelly Janisch as Director of Asset Management. In this role, Janisch will lead the execution of asset-level business plans across Muinzer’s growing national portfolio, with a focus on operational excellence, revenue optimization, and strategic capital improvements.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kelly to the Muinzer team,” said Marc Muinzer, Founder & CEO. “As our platform continues to expand, her expertise in institutional asset management and value creation will be instrumental in maximizing performance and delivering best-in-class results for our partners.”
Janisch brings over 17 years of real estate experience, including leadership roles at Waterton and Barings. She will oversee leasing strategy, budget execution, and property performance reviews, while also supporting Muinzer’s acquisition and repositioning efforts.
“I’m excited to join the Muinzer team, which has a strong track record and clear vision for growth,” said Kelly Janisch. “Muinzer’s commitment to excellence and its differentiated approach to student housing make this a unique platform, and I look forward to helping scale operations and drive long-term value.”
Kelly’s hire follows Muinzer’s recent addition of Steve Teegarden, formerly of Core Spaces, as Director of Finance. In addition, Muinzer recently promoted Michael Snyder to President, alongside his ongoing role as Chief Operating Officer, further strengthening the firm’s senior leadership. Together, these strategic moves reinforce Muinzer’s position for continued growth and execution across its national student housing platform.
