Michelli Expands Regional Presence with Eighth Acquisition

Michelli Weighing & Measurement (“Michelli”), a portfolio company of Summit Park, is pleased to announce it has recapitalized Florida Industrial Scale Company (“FISC”) and Industrial Scale and Measurement (“ISM”). These acquisitions support Michelli’s continued growth strategy and enhance the company’s technical service capabilities.

FISC provides industrial weighing services to manufacturing and industrial clients. The company services more than 800 customers throughout the state of Florida and operates four branches located in Lakeland, Jacksonville, Riviera Beach, and its headquarters in Orlando. The partnership with FISC will enable Michelli to expand its national service footprint into Florida and strengthen its regional presence in the Southeast.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, ISM is a provider of industrial weighing services to customers across a wide range of end markets, including manufacturing, industrial, chemical, and construction. The company provides test and calibration services, equipment and parts, and operates a precision measurement lab with an expertise in force calibration. The acquisition enhances service density for Michelli’s existing Houston operation and augments the existing lab capabilities.

Headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana, Michelli provides equipment sales, calibration, and repair services for a broad range of precision and industrial weighing systems. These transactions represent Michelli’s seventh and eighth acquisitions since partnering with Summit Park in 2023.

“We are pleased to welcome both Florida Industrial Scale and Industrial Scale & Measurement to the Michelli platform,” said Bobby Feigler, CEO of Michelli. “Both organizations demonstrate strong alignment with our commitment to service quality, technical excellence, and long-term customer relationships. These partnerships strengthen our ability to support customers nationwide while preserving the local expertise that has made each business a successful and trusted provider in their respective markets.”

Drew Gilbert, Partner at Summit Park, said, “These acquisitions reflect the continued successful execution of Michelli’s growth strategy, expanding into new markets and enhancing service capabilities for our customers throughout the country. FISC and ISM have each built strong, well-established businesses and present a significant opportunity to drive key growth initiatives at Michelli. We are motivated to get to work with their teams.”
