Generational Group, a leading mergers and acquisitions advisory firm for privately held businesses, is pleased to announce that Michael Kim, a Generational sponsored professional golfer, will be competing in this year’s Masters Tournament.
The 2025 Masters Tournament will be the 89th edition and the first of the men’s four major golf championships held in 2025. It is scheduled to be played this week at the world-renowned Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.
PGA TOUR Pro and Generational Brand Ambassador, Michael Kim, secured a Masters invitation after breaking into the Top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking following the Houston Open.
Kim’s T32 finish at the Texas Children’s Houston Open propelled him to No. 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking, securing his first Masters appearance since 2019. His climb has been remarkable, having started the year outside the Top 150. Kim’s steady rise marks a standout moment in his comeback season.
President and CEO of Generational, Ryan Binkley stated, “It is truly an honor to compete in the Masters with the world’s best golfers, and Michael has earned the opportunity with his outstanding play this season.”
Binkley added, “We look forward to an exciting Masters this year and are anticipating that Michael will be in contention with another strong performance. We are expecting a thrilling week of golf and the entire Generational family will be cheering Michael on.”
