Mathnasium, Greenlight Team Up for Financial Literacy Month

  • Math-Only Supplemental Education Franchise Partners with Family Debit Card Platform to Champion Financial Literacy
  • Throughout April, Mathnasium and Greenlight will offer exclusive family perks, in-center experiences, and a national sweepstakes

Mathnasium Learning Centers, a globally recognized franchise with over 1,200 locations across 12 countries, today announced a national partnership with Greenlight, the #1 family finance and safety app committed to helping families build financial confidence and security across generations.

In honor of Financial Literacy Month, the two brands are teaming up throughout the month of April to help families build real-world money skills through exclusive family perks, in-center activations, and a national sweepstakes, featuring Mathnasium scholarships and six-month Greenlight subscriptions.

“Our goal at Mathnasium is to empower kids with the tools they need to understand how math applies beyond the classroom, especially when it comes to making smart financial decisions,” said Christina El-Saden, Senior Director of Marketing at Mathnasium. “Financial habits begin forming at a young age, which is why it’s so important to introduce these concepts early and intentionally. Through our partnership with Greenlight, we’re equipping families with practical tools that spark meaningful money conversations and build lasting financial confidence, while reinforcing the critical role math plays in financial literacy.”

Building Financial Confidence Early
Together, Mathnasium and Greenlight aim to spotlight the importance of building real-world money skills, reinforcing a powerful message for families: financial confidence starts early. With the 2025 Nation’s Report Card highlighting that many families are looking for guidance around financial conversations, this partnership offers an engaging way to support parents, equipping kids with the skills to earn, save, spend, invest, and give responsibly.

From April 1 through April 30, 2026, the partnership will come to life through engaging activations, including:

  • In-Center Activations: Mathnasium centers nationwide will celebrate Financial Literacy Month with take-home materials and hands-on experiences that make money math engaging and relatable. Throughout April, centers will distribute weekly activity sheets, tailored for elementary, middle, and high school students. Interactive learning stations and themed challenges will help students connect math concepts to real-world skills like earning, saving, and spending.
  • National Sweepstakes: Families can enter the Financial Literacy Month Sweepstakes for a chance to win a six-month Mathnasium scholarship* and a six-month Greenlight Max plan subscription.**

A Natural Partnership Built to Empower Families
Greenlight is a family-focused fintech platform committed to helping parents raise financially confident kids. Through a debit card for kids and teens, a parent-controlled app, and interactive financial literacy tools, Greenlight equips families with the resources needed to build smart money habits from an early age.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Mathnasium to bring Greenlight’s curriculum to students across the country,” said Jennifer Seitz, Director of Education at Greenlight. “Financial literacy is an essential life skill, and together, we’re empowering the next generation with the confidence to make smart financial decisions while building a strong foundation for lifelong success.”
