The Kogod School of Business at American University is partnering with Perplexity to provide cutting-edge AI tools to all students, staff, and faculty. This collaboration represents the latest milestone in Kogod’s ongoing investment in AI education, research, and industry leadership.
Through this partnership, every student, staff member, and faculty member at Kogod will have access to Perplexity Enterprise Pro. Providing the entire Kogod community with safe access to an advanced AI research and knowledge tool will transform learning, research, creativity, and productivity both inside and outside the classroom.

This latest investment builds upon Kogod’s extensive AI initiatives, which have been called the “most consequential AI transformation in business education” by Times Higher Education’s Poets&Quants. In twelve months, Kogod has integrated AI into its curriculum across 40+ courses; developed plans for AI credentials including badges and certificates; and provided faculty with regular training on the latest AI tools. These initiatives ensure students and faculty gain the knowledge and skills needed for today’s rapidly evolving business landscape.
