Kiddom IM® v.360 Named the Best of STEM Award Winner for AI for Mathematics

Kiddom IM® v.360 has been recognized as a winner in the Educators Pick Best of STEM 2025 Awards, the only awards program judged by STEM educators. Kiddom IM® v.360 won the award for the category of “Best of STEM for AI for Mathematics.”

“When I reviewed Kiddom IM® v.360 as a Best of STEM judge, I immediately thought about the challenges we face giving students timely feedback,” said Erin Barr, a Best of STEM judge and K-12 educator at the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind. “It takes me hours to grade math papers and give constructive feedback. The AI integration in this product addresses that problem directly. What’s also nice about it is that sometimes the AI suggests things I didn’t think about giving as feedback.”

Kiddom IM® v.360 combines Illustrative Mathematics’ (IM) evidence-based curriculum with Kiddom’s Learning Intelligence Technology (LIT). LIT uses AI to deliver on the promise of high-quality instructional materials. It gives teachers AI-powered tools that accelerate instructional planning, delivery, grading, and reporting while preserving the integrity of the IM curriculum. By reducing administrative burdens, it frees teachers to deeply connect with, motivate, and inspire every learner.

“The immediate feedback means we’re not waiting until grading is done to circle back with students,” said Barr. “We gain time to actually talk to students about what the feedback means and what it looks like going forward. That’s one thing that’s really important about products like this — they give us time back to teach instead of grade.”

The Educators Pick Best of STEM Awards spotlight innovative products, technologies, and services changing the world of STEM education. The program is operated by Catapult X and the Teich Group in partnership with MCH Strategic Data, the National Science Teaching Association, and the National Association of Biology Teachers.
