JETNET iQ Summit 2025 Marks 14 Years of Business Aviation Insight

The 14th annual JETNET iQ Summit brought together the world’s business aviation leaders for two days of conversation, data-driven insights, and strategic foresight at the Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. With 15 panels featuring OEMs, operators, financiers, and policymakers, the Summit reaffirmed its reputation as the premier forum for thought leadership in business aviation.

JETNET’s CEO, Derek Swaim, highlighted the optimism that ran throughout the event, noting the industry’s resilience and growth across AI, sustainability, supply chain, and workforce development. Rolland Vincent, Creator / Director of JETNET iQ, added: “Fourteen years ago, we set out to create a forum where the industry could step back, analyze the data, and engage in forward-looking conversations that matter. The iQ Summit continues to deliver on that vision.”

Key insights included forecasts of ~825 business jet deliveries in 2025 (+8% YoY), strong OEM backlogs of ~$55 billion, and a rebound in sentiment from -17.5% in Q2 to +28.4% in Q3. As noted by Richard Koe of WINGX, global business aviation activity is up +2.7% year-to-date, with 3.9 million flights recorded through August — making July and August the busiest months on record.

The JETNET iQ Summit is made possible through the support of leading sponsors. 2025 Platinum Power sponsors included Bombardier, Embraer, Gulfstream, Spectro Jet-Care, Jetex, PNC, Qatar Executive, and Textron Aviation. Gold Glider sponsors included Clay Lacy Aviation, Dassault Falcon, GE Aerospace, Gogo, International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA), MedAire, Pilatus Aircraft, Rolls-Royce, and RTX (Collins Aerospace | Pratt & Whitney | Raytheon).

As JETNET iQ Summit 2025 came to a close, one message was clear: optimism, innovation, and collaboration will define the next decade of business aviation.
