Upcoming ISG Provider Lens® reports will cover providers helping telecom and media enterprises shift from siloed operational systems to unified digital platforms

Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study examining service providers to the telecom and media industries that are integrating AI, automation and flexible system architectures to help clients meet evolving customer demands.

The study results will be published in a series of comprehensive ISG Provider Lens® reports, called Telecom, Media and Entertainment Industry Services and Solutions, scheduled to be released in December 2025. The reports will evaluate providers offering strategic advice and enablement services, next-gen IT services for telecom and media enterprises, integrated platform solutions, industrial edge connectivity and supply chain management services.

Enterprise buyers will be able to use information from the reports to evaluate their current vendor relationships, potential new engagements and available offerings, while ISG advisors use the information to recommend providers to the firm’s buy-side clients.

Telecom, media and entertainment enterprises are prioritizing data-driven insights and personalization to enhance user engagement. Modernization of legacy systems through integrated, cloud-native service platforms is accelerating time to market for network services. Providers are facilitating these initiatives with strategic advice and IT and process outsourcing services. Providers’ advanced analytics and service creation and delivery capabilities, including functions enhanced with generative AI, enable enterprises to update and adapt their offerings.

“Telecom, media and entertainment enterprises are shifting toward personalization and immersive experiences, leveraging extensive data insights,” said Iain Fisher, director at ISG. “Real-time analytics, cloud technology and AI are essential to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.”

ISG has distributed surveys to more than 200 service providers to the telecom, media and entertainment industries. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, the research team will produce six quadrants representing the services and solutions that enterprises in these industries are buying, based on ISG’s experience working with its clients. Providers support enterprises carrying out transformations by offering business strategies and guidance in mergers and acquisitions and technology modernization to optimize growth, efficiency and monetization.

The providers are assessed on their ability to deliver IT services, optimize business processes, integrate AI, comply with regulations and foster innovation through agile methodologies and partnerships.

These solutions use flexible, cloud-native software stacks in dynamic service creation, fraud detection and zero-touch assurance, enabling scalable global deployments.

The providers are evaluated on their ability to deliver robust, purpose-built edge and connectivity solutions with AI integration.
