HT Materials Science (HTMS) is proud to have been named to Fast Company‘s prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025. This year’s list shines a spotlight on businesses that are shaping industry through their innovations to set new standards and achieve remarkable milestones in all sectors of the economy.

HTMS was recognized for its groundbreaking heat transfer fluid additive branded Maxwell ® that increases thermal capacity and energy efficiency in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The installation of Maxwell requires no system downtime and results in reduced energy use, carbon emissions, and maintenance costs while increasing system capacity.

Maxwell has been successfully deployed at more than 25 sites worldwide for clients such as Amazon, Tabreed/Engie, Saudi Aramco, Microsoft and Ericsson. These installations have demonstrated measurable improvements in system efficiency and increased cooling capacity.
