The International Green Industry Hall of Fame (IGIHOF) has announced that it will celebrate eight new inductees as part of its official 2026 Induction Ceremony to be held on Friday, May 1st from 6:00pm – 9:00pm Pacific Time.
The event is being held at the Presidio Center for Sustainable Solutions at the University of Redlands’ San Francisco Bay Area Campus in conjunction with an “Un-Conference” on May 2nd at the same location. The Un-Conference is a day of networking and interactive co-learning where MBA and MPA students and inductees will co-facilitate explorations of the sustainability issues that matter most to the next generation.
Co-developed by the Presidio Center community and IGIHOF board members, the event will feature highly interactive, issue-driven discussions led by students and inductees.
The ceremony this year will also honor Sam Geil, who founded IGIHOF in 2008 to recognize environmental leadership in the business community. Under his leadership, IGIHOF has inducted a diverse community of change agents, thought leaders, and industry innovators who demonstrate a collective commitment to creating a better future.
The goal of IGIHOF is to promote excellence in environmental sustainability worldwide. IGIHOF recognizes individuals and organizations for groundbreaking achievements in green industry.
The event will be emceed by Adam Fromson, Chair of the IGIHOF Board of Directors.
