Micro-grant initiative provides critical support for essential needs, reinforcing EverDriven’s mission of opening doors to a brighter future for every student, every community, every day
In advance of Giving Tuesday 2025, EverDriven, the nation’s leader in Alternative Student Transportation, announced the launch of its “Driving Access Forward” initiative, a new district micro-grant program designed to help schools support students, families, and staff facing essential needs during the holiday season.
Through Driving Access Forward, EverDriven will award micro-grants ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 to five to 10 school districts across the country. The funds may be used for a wide range of immediate needs, including essential access to supplies, emergency resources, community-based support efforts, or other district-identified priorities that help ensure students and families have what they need to remain engaged, safe, and supported throughout the holiday season.
“We have heard from many districts that students, families, and districts face essential needs, especially during the holiday season,” said Courtney Pallotta, Chief Marketing Officer at EverDriven. “Through Driving Access Forward, we are helping districts bridge those gaps by providing flexible support where it is needed most. We expect this program to positively impact hundreds of students and families nationwide and deepen our partnership with districts, reinforcing our commitment to equitable access for all.”
The Driving Access Forward initiative represents EverDriven’s continued investment in supporting districts and the communities they serve. Beyond financial support, the program will also spotlight real-world impact through district stories shared throughout December. EverDriven will highlight how districts, McKinney-Vento coordinators, transportation directors, and district staff are using these micro-grants to make a difference for both students and their local communities.
EverDriven’s commitment goes beyond innovation in student transportation. It’s about building a future where every student has equitable access to education, opportunity, and the resources they need to succeed, together with the school districts that make it possible.
