ElementUSA Inc. and DISA Technologies Inc. today announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the reprocessing of mine waste and expand access to critical minerals across North America.
This collaboration combines DISA’s patented High Pressure Slurry Ablation (“HPSA”) technology with ElementUSA’s expertise in mineral extraction process development and customer engagement. Together, the companies will deliver integrated solutions that recover value from mine tailings while supporting and strengthening U.S. critical mineral supply chains.
Under the agreement, ElementUSA will operate a bench-scale HPSA unit installed at its Austin, Texas Critical Resource Accelerator (“CRA”), enabling continuous testing, tailings characterization, and process optimization. DISA will provide technical training, support, and integration services, while both companies will jointly identify pilot sites for commercial-scale demonstrations.

The partnership will formally launch this quarter, with the HPSA unit now operational at ElementUSA’s Austin-based CRA. Joint marketing initiatives and participation in industry conferences are planned to highlight the integrated approach.
