Edgecore Sponsors Beyond Summit 2026; Shows 102.4T AI Network

Edgecore Networks, the leader in open networking solutions and a subsidiary of Accton Group, today announced its official sponsorship of the Beyond Summit 2026, taking place in San Francisco on April 8. Edgecore will debut its latest high-performance switching portfolio designed specifically to meet the massive bandwidth demands of generative AI and large-scale GPU clusters.

As the industry shifts toward a “Beyond CUDA” era, infrastructure flexibility has become the primary concern for hyper-scalers and enterprises alike. At Beyond Summit, Edgecore will demonstrate how its open-source hardware strategy—powered by SONiC and the latest Tomahawk 6 1.6T Solution—provides a high-performance, vendor-neutral alternative to proprietary fabrics.

The Backbone of AI Innovation

The centerpiece of Edgecore’s showcase will be the AIS1600-64O, the world’s first production-ready 102.4Tbps 1.6T OSFP open networking switch. Capable of supporting massive RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCEv2) traffic, this platform is engineered to eliminate the “network bottleneck” often found in distributed AI training and inference.

Edgecore is proud to announce our deep collaboration with the AMD Pensando team to fully optimize and qualify our open networking platforms within the AMD MI300 Series ecosystem. By ensuring seamless interoperability with the MI300X, MI325, and MI355, we are delivering a pre-validated, high-performance fabric that guarantees our customers maximum throughput and ultra-low latency for the most demanding AI workloads.

Future-Proofing with Optical Wavelength Switching (OWS)

To complement its electronic switching leadership, Edgecore is introducing OWS (Optical Wavelength Switch). Designed for the lowest possible latency in AI environments, OWS switches signals at the light level, bypassing the power-hungry and latency-inducing electron conversion process.

“The AI revolution cannot be built on closed systems,” said Nanda Ravindran, VP of Product Management and Planning at Edgecore Networks. “By sponsoring Beyond Summit, we are reaffirming our commitment to an open ecosystem. Our 800G and 1.6T solutions empower developers and infrastructure leads to build the ‘Infinite Fabric’ necessary for the next generation of AI models without being locked into a single vendor’s roadmap.”

“Having Edgecore alongside us at Beyond Summit speaks to the momentum building around open AI infrastructure. They understand what’s at stake, and their support signals to the broader community that the movement toward open, high-performance compute is real.” – Jeff Tatarchuk, Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder, TensorWave.

Edgecore Highlights at Beyond Summit 2026:

  • The 1.6T Evolution: Show case of the AIS1600-64O, delivering unprecedented density for AI backend fabrics.
  • Turnkey AI Infrastructure: Introducing Open Rack, a collaborative AI-ready stack that integrates Edgecore’s open switches with high-performance compute.
  • Open Source Leadership: Joint technical sessions focused on optimizing SONiC for AI workloads to ensure sub-microsecond latency across large-scale clusters.

Edgecore invites attendees, partners, and media to join and witness the future of open-source AI infrastructure.
