Retail Real Estate Owner/Operator Continues to Expand Its Third-Party Management Platform with Addition of Premier South Florida Center
Centennial, a leading retail real estate owner and operator with a specialized third-party management platform serving retail property owners nationwide (www.centennialrec.com), has been awarded the management contract for Galleria Fort Lauderdale, a premier super-regional shopping center in South Florida. Centennial will provide a full spectrum of management services for the property, including property management, marketing and accounting.
The Galleria was recently acquired by GFO Investments and InSite Group, in partnership with Atlas Hill Real Estate and Prime Finance. The ownership group selected Centennial to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the center remains fully operational during the transition and continues to deliver seamless service to both shoppers and retail partners.
“We are honored to have been selected as the manager for Galleria Fort Lauderdale,” says Paul Kurzawa, president of Centennial. “Our firm has built a strong reputation as a trusted third-party operator with deep expertise in all facets of retail real estate management and leasing across the nation. We look forward to working with the Galleria’s new ownership on reimagining the center into the premier retail and entertainment destination in South Florida.”
Since opening in the early 1980s, the Galleria has served as a central destination for shopping, dining and entertainment, drawing visitors from across South Florida. Its prime East Sunrise Boulevard location, with nearby waterways and easy access to downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beaches, provides a strong foundation for a revitalization that celebrates both the city’s heritage and evolving urban landscape.
“We are excited to begin this new chapter at Galleria Fort Lauderdale,” says Jim Heilmann, the newly appointed senior general manager for the center. “We look forward to working closely with our retailers and continuing to make the Galleria a place where the community can shop, gather and enjoy memorable experiences together.”
