Sullivan will lead the company’s growing software team and play a key role in advancing Bridger’s capabilities in data science, AI, and cloud-first platforms to better serve clients across the oil and gas industry.

He will spearhead the evolution of Bridger’s data delivery and connected multi-modal ecosystem, ensuring that clients can derive even more value from the massive troves of emissions data Bridger collects.

“From the first time I met the Bridger team, the passion for solving methane leak detection was infectious,” said Sullivan. “The team is using state of the art technology and I’m thrilled to join a mission where data science, AI, and machine learning can be harnessed in a tangible way to further that impact.”

His appointment marks a critical step in Bridger’s roadmap to scale software offerings, expand cloud-first capabilities, and further integrate hardware/software solutions. Sullivan will bring purpose-driven leadership and a relentless commitment to building best-in-class teams aligned around delivering results for clients.

As part of this leadership evolution, Mike Thorpe, Bridger’s founding CTO, will transition into the newly created role of Chief Scientist. In this role, Thorpe will continue to lead the company’s R&D and Data Analytics initiatives, ensuring Bridger stays at the forefront of technical and scientific innovation.

“Ryan brings a wealth of experience and critical insights on technology to our team,” said Ben Little, CEO of Bridger Photonics. “As we grow our data platform capabilities and scale our impact, his vision and expertise will be instrumental in delivering powerful insights that help our clients act faster and more effectively.”
