Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd., a leading global solar energy technology company specializing in monocrystalline PV cells and premium Gamma Series™ Monofacial and Vega Series™ Bifacial PV modules, proudly announces the formal acceptance of its Letter of Commitment to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)—the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

“Boviet is honored to join the efforts of the UNGC and its global participants in shaping the future,” said Jimmy Xie, General Manager of Boviet Solar Technology Global. “We believe that responsible corporate governance and social and environmental stewardship are critical to driving long-term business success. Our company looks forward to working alongside UNGC and its partners to contribute to a healthier planet and a more sustainable future for all.”

Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is a voluntary initiative that encourages companies to align their operations with universal principles and to take actions that advance sustainable development. With over 20,000 participants in more than 160 countries, it serves as a global platform for responsible business leadership and collaboration in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

By joining the UN Global Compact, Boviet Solar commits to aligning its strategies and operations with UNGC’s Ten Universally Accepted Principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. The company also pledges to take actions that advance broader societal goals, particularly the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The UNGC commitment deepens Boviet Solar’s foundational values and supports its ongoing efforts toward its mission.

“Joining the UNGC aligns perfectly with our mission of making the Earth a better place for all living beings by harnessing the power of the sun,” said Scott Chen, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Boviet Solar. “We are proud to stand alongside thousands of companies around the world that are actively working to build a more sustainable, equitable, and inclusive global economy.”
