Benchmark Gensuite, an early innovator in AI-forward digital management solutions for EHS, Quality, Sustainability, and ESG, today announced significant updates to its refrigerant leak management solution to support upcoming U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, well ahead of when it takes effect on January 1, 2026.

Refrigerant Leak Manager, recently upgraded from ODS Sentinel to reflect broader refrigerant management practices and evolving industry standards has been enabling sites since 2006 to track and manage regulated refrigerants under U.S. EPA standards. The latest enhancements ahead of 2026 compliance changes ensure full alignment with federal refrigerant management requirements under the Clean Air Act Section 608 and the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act, reinforcing Benchmark Gensuite’s commitment to providing best practice solutions for regulatory excellence and proactive environmental stewardship.

Key updates include enhanced automation for revised leak rate thresholds for hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and their substitutes with a global warming potential greater than 53; new equipment-specific leak rate limits; and an expanded refrigerant selection library. These enhancements streamline compliance workflows, automatically apply updated regulatory thresholds, and ensure consistent, worry-free compliance across all refrigerant systems.

“This update reflects our continued commitment to helping subscribers stay ahead of regulatory change,” said R. Mukund, Chief Executive Officer at Benchmark Gensuite. “By embedding the 2026 EPA refrigerant requirements directly into our Refrigerant Leak Manager solution, we’re making compliance simpler, smarter, and more proactive—so organizations can focus on performance and sustainability with confidence. As a follow-on to these regulatory updates, we will be introducing Genny AI capabilities into Refrigerant Leak Manager in Q1 2026!”

These enhancements advance Benchmark Gensuite’s broader vision for digitally enabled compliance solutions that support environmental responsibility and operational excellence, supported by AI, Mobile and Analytics. Benchmark Gensuite continuously enhances its digital management solutions for EHS and sustainability to reflect evolving regulatory requirements, giving subscribers confidence that their compliance tools stay current and ready for what’s next.
