Seattle Metro’s newest private school combines academic rigor with opportunities in arts, sciences, and athletics.
BASIS Independent Schools, a nationally recognized network of private schools known for its rigorous liberal arts and sciences curriculum, is proud to announce the official opening of BASIS Independent Bothell, its newest campus serving students in kindergarten through grade 12.
Located at 21540 30th Drive SE in Bothell’s Canyon Park neighborhood, the newly renovated 123,000-square-foot campus welcomed its first students on September 10. Northshore families can now access a world-acclaimed program locally that prepares students to excel at the highest international levels.
The state-of-the-art facility includes:
- Dedicated classrooms for drama, music, visual arts, and engineering
- Cutting-edge science and technology labs
- A full-size gymnasium and outdoor field for league sports competitions
- Expansive outdoor areas with a sports field, playground, and basketball court
“This opening marks an exciting new chapter for families across Bothell and the greater Northshore and Eastside regions,” said Robert Runyon, founding Head of School. “Our mission is to empower students through curiosity, critical thinking, and academic challenge—giving them the tools to thrive in college and beyond.”
