Avangrid, Inc., a leading energy company and member of the Iberdrola Group, today announced it has been named to TIME’s America’s Best Mid-Size Companies 2025 – marking its second consecutive year on the prestigious list. This back-to-back recognition underscores Avangrid’s consistent performance in the three areas TIME evaluates: revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and corporate responsibility practices that create economic, social, and environmental value in communities.

“Earning a place on TIME’s list two years in a row is a powerful validation of the culture and strategy we’ve fostered and continue to build upon,” said Avangrid CEO Jose Antonio Miranda. “This recognition affirms Avangrid’s success to deliver sustainable growth, strengthen the communities we serve, and invest in our people.”

In determining America’s Best list, TIME and Statista evaluated U.S. companies with revenues between $100 million and $10 billion, including them based on employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and corporate responsibility transparency.

With more than 10.5 gigawatts (GW) of generation capacity, Avangrid continues to expand its energy portfolio investing heavily in U.S. energy infrastructure. In 2025, the company announced plans to invest an additional $20 billion in grid modernization by 2030 to meet surging demand and enhance system resilience, reinforcing its role as a leader in America’s energy transformation.

Avangrid employs approximately 8,000 people and has been recognized by JUST Capital as one of the JUST 100 companies – a ranking of America’s best corporate citizens – in 2025 for the fifth consecutive year. The company was named among the World’s Most Ethical Companies in 2025 for the seventh consecutive year by the Ethisphere Institute. Avangrid is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace and has embedded a safety-first culture across its operations. This focus on safety, inclusion, and respect fuels high employee satisfaction and strengthens the company’s ability to deliver reliable service to millions of customers every day.

Avangrid’s commitment to sustainable value creation extends beyond energy projects to include economic development, and workforce opportunities. Across the United States the company supports initiatives that spur local growth, create jobs, and protect natural resources while meeting the nation’s rapidly growing energy needs.
