Kelli is a well-known Chicago-area real estate attorney (Fogarty & Fugate, LLP), title agent, and the founder and former President of the Chicagoland Association of Real Estate Attorneys (AREA), an organization dedicated to promoting the value and protections attorneys provide to consumers when undertaking the complex process of buying or selling real estate. Upon graduating from law school Kelli began her career as a litigator until she found a real passion for real estate law. In 2007, Kelli, along with partner, Dean Fugate, started and built one of the preeminent boutique real estate law firms in Chicago and has closed thousands of transactions during her career. In her role at Advocus, Kelli will further the storied Advocus tradition of advocating for attorneys so they can advocate for consumers. With her leadership, Advocus can help ensure that the next generation of lawyers is equipped to meet the ever-changing needs of real estate consumers, ensuring attorneys will always have a seat at the closing table. Kelli received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago Law School where she was awarded the prestigious Corboy Fellowship and her B.A. in Political Science from Eastern Illinois University.
