Christopher Gardner is a 25-year veteran employee of the University of Michigan. His current responsibilities include organizing, analyzing, and visualizing university data to enable data driven decisions for the president, provost, regents, deans, and directors. He also manages and maintains the U of M campus Tableau server. In addition to his full time position at the university, he is also a trainer and author with O'Reilly Media. He most recently authored a book about logical data management. In addition, he wrote the Tableau Certified Data Analyst Study Guide, a reference book to assist readers in passing Tableau certification exams. In his spare time, he enjoys lapidary work, woodworking, and travel.
