Ark MFG, the newly established holding company founded by Gian Carlo Alonso, is excited to announce the successful acquisition of Tarpon Stainless Fabricators, Inc., a leader in custom stainless steel fabrication. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Ark MFG’s broader vision to “Unshackle American Industrial Potential” by revitalizing and enhancing U.S.-based manufacturing companies.
This acquisition is part of Ark MFG’s strategy to expand its reach across the food service equipment industry, beyond stainless steel, with a commitment to excellence, quality, and speed.
“I am incredibly happy and excited about this acquisition. For me, it’s a deeply personal moment that brings me back to nearly 50 years ago when my grandfather arrived from Cuba and established Metal Equipment of Florida, building a legacy of custom stainless steel fabrication. I never imagined myself coming full circle and returning to this industry, but here we are, and I couldn’t be prouder,” said Gian Carlo Alonso, Founder and CEO of Ark MFG.
