LucyRx CCO Susan Thomas Wins Silver & Bronze Stevie Awards

Thomas was recognized in both the Most Innovative Woman of the Year – Healthcare and Female Executive of the Year

Susan Thomas, Chief Commercial Officer at LucyRx, has been awarded a Silver and a Bronze Stevie® Award in the categories of Most Innovative Woman of the Year – Healthcare and Female Executive of the Year, respectively, in the 22nd annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

In her role at LucyRx, a next-generation pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) known for simplifying and improving access to prescription care, Thomas leads clinical strategy, sales, client success, brand strategy and marketing. She began her career as an oncology nurse and has become one of the nation’s most innovative healthcare executives — leading pharmacy benefit reform that now impacts more than 1.5 million people nationwide. Her bachelor’s degree in nursing and MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business give her a rare ability to translate patient realities into business strategies that change lives.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run — worldwide. Nicknamed Stevie for the Greek word for “crowned,” the Stevie Award has been hailed as the world’s premier business award.

“Susan’s vision and leadership embody the innovation and compassion that define LucyRx,” said David Blair, CEO of LucyRx. “Being recognized for both Most Innovative Woman of the Year – Healthcare and Female Executive of the Year is a testament to her dedication to transforming pharmacy benefits and improving care for millions of patients. We are incredibly proud of Susan and this achievement.”

More than 1,500 entries from organizations and individuals in 48 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration in a variety of categories. Finalists were determined based on the average scores of more than 190 business professionals worldwide, serving across seven judging committees. These scores determined the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie® placements.

“Now in its 22nd year, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business attracted an exceptional range of nominations,” said Stevie Awards President Maggie Miller. “We are continually inspired by how meaningful it is for women to receive a Stevie Award and the lasting impact it can have on their careers and organizations. We extend our congratulations to all of this year’s winners for their achievements.”
