I’m green™ bio-based will highlight its collaboration with forward-thinking brands to scale bio-based solutions globally
Braskem’s I’m green™ bio-based brand will participate in Sustainable Brands 2025, held in San Diego, Calif., from Oct. 13 to 16 to raise awareness about carbon footprint and its impact on climate change. Backed by more than 200 Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) data, the company will engage in discussions and showcase how replacing traditional fossil-based materials with bio-based alternatives can significantly reduce carbon emissions and support the transition to a low-carbon circular economy.
Attendees can explore I’m green™ bio-based at its booth, in program sessions, and through dedicated conversations designed to bring carbon footprint reduction and greenhouse gas (GhG) emissions to the forefront of discussions when making decisions about material choices. The company will showcase real-world applications from clients, including Bottle Up, KANE Footwear, Deckers, Gelmart, and DeTerra, highlighting how bio-based solutions are already driving sustainability across industries. Braskem will also host sessions focused on the role of bio-based plastics in reducing Scope 3 emissions, particularly in categories 1 and 12 of the GHG Protocol. KANE Footwear will join Braskem in a breakout session to share its experience using I’m green™ bio-based materials. Visit Braskem at booth #311 to learn more.
