Age of Learning Names Dr. Martin Miller 2025-26 Educator of the Year

Ohio Superintendent Honored for Transformative Leadership and Innovative Teaching

Age of Learning Inc., the leading education technology innovator, has named Dr. Martin Miller, Superintendent of Antwerp Local Schools in Antwerp, OH, as the 2025-2026 Educator of the Year. This award, created in honor of Age of Learning’s founder, recognizes exceptional educators who empower students through innovative teaching and technology.

The award celebrates educators who use student-centered approaches and leverage research-based solutions such as Age of Learning’s ABCmouse®My Math Academy®My Reading Academy®, and My Reading Academy Español®. From a nationwide pool of nominations, Dr. Miller emerged as this year’s recipient, distinguished by his transformative leadership that has elevated his district to national recognition. Dr. Miller’s exceptional leadership was further validated this summer when he was presented with the 2025 Ohio Superintendent Award of Excellence.

Dr. Miller brings nearly four decades of experience as teacher, principal, and superintendent. His leadership has driven statewide recognition, including the Ohio Superintendent Award of Excellence and honors from Tech & Learning Magazine.

At Antwerp Local Schools, Dr. Miller championed cutting-edge STEM/STEAM programs, including an award-winning Innovation and Aquaponics Center. His “Nature’s Water Treatment Process” project, supported by an Ohio EPA grant, earned the school the Excellence in Environmental Education Award.

“This recognition means everything to me,” said Dr. Miller. “My greatest joy comes from seeing students become curious, engaged learners who understand their power to make a difference. This award reflects the dedication of our entire school community.”
