Strengthening transatlantic collaboration to accelerate growth and customer value
With over 20 years of experience within the company, Chris Mean, CEO for Columbus UK, will now take on the additional role of CEO for Columbus US. This strategic move is to strengthen the collaboration between Europe and the US further.
There is already a strong bond between the two countries, as they share multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 customers. Columbus has seen many positive developments and synergies in these two markets, including a significant uptake in the US business of 30%, and the UK being the largest business unit outside of Scandinavia.
“I am excited to be increasing my focus across both our UK and US markets, where opportunities for further alignment will accelerate our ambitions and deliver even greater value to our customers and employees,” says Chris Mean, CEO for Columbus UK & US.
“I am pleased that Chris is stepping into this added role. He has been with Columbus for many years and knows our markets very well. We have had many great collaborations so far and this feels like a natural next step on our path forward,” says Søren Krogh Knudsen, President for Columbus.
With this change Columbus also hopes to grow its M3 business in the UK. In the US, the company already has a well-established base for M3, a factor that has contributed to Q2’s great financial result for that market.
Chris Mean will start this additional position as CEO for both markets effective immediately. Together with the US leadership team, there will be a focus on continuing the M3 success and strengthening the US Microsoft Dynamics 365 business further.
“I believe this is one of Columbus’ many strengths, to be able to dynamically evolve with the market needs and put the right people in the right places at the right time,” says Søren Krogh Knudsen.
