Zaelab Names Bob Schwartz Vice Chairman, Boosts Strategy

Momentum builds as Zaelab welcomes industry leader Bob Schwartz to the board.

Zaelab, the leading provider of business-to-business (“B2B”) digital transformation solutions, today announced the appointment of Bob Schwartz to its Board of Directors as Vice Chairman. Schwartz brings experience building enterprise technology companies that have reshaped the market and will help guide Zaelab’s next phase of growth.

This appointment reflects strong momentum for Zaelab, marked by two acquisitions and expanded partnerships with best-in-class enterprise technology platforms Shopify, ServiceNow, and Logik.ai. As Zaelab scales, it continues to invest in leadership and innovation to help clients move faster, sell smarter, and deliver better customer experiences.

Focused on Client-Centric Innovation

Schwartz has worked extensively on both the client and technology vendor sides of the enterprise. As President of Magento, he helped grow the open-source platform into a global leader in digital commerce, later acquired by Adobe. Earlier, he led the launch and scale of Nordstrom.com into one of the first major eCommerce brands in America. His experience provides rare insight into how enterprise buyers adopt and scale new technologies—insight that will help Zaelab better serve its clients.

“Zaelab isn’t just evolving with the market—they have amazing momentum and are focused on building what an enterprise needs to look like now, five years from now, and into the future,” said Schwartz. “And at Zaelab’s core is making their clients and their customers the real winners. It might sound simple, but that focus on customer success is exactly how we built transformative companies like Magento (Adobe Commerce), Nordstrom.com, and Wpromote.”

A Strategic Partner in Zaelab’s Next Phase of Growth

As Vice Chairman, Schwartz will advise on partnerships, go-to-market execution, and innovation strategy. He is already collaborating with the leadership team to enhance Zaelab’s operating model and accelerate client outcomes as AI reshapes how enterprises operate and compete.

“Bob built digital businesses that were ahead of their time,” said Evan Klein, CEO of Zaelab. “His ability to see around corners and translate vision into execution is helping us sharpen our strategy and stay focused on what matters most—our clients.”

Schwartz has led or advised on ten successful exits across technology and retail through his growth advisory firm 47 B Street, and also serves as Chairman of the board for not-for-profit Channel Islands National Park Foundation.

“Zaelab is solving some of the most persistent challenges facing B2B enterprises today,” added Schwartz. “It’s a privilege to help shape the next chapter alongside an experienced  team that is completely committed to delivering value for its clients.”
