Roundhouse, a vertically integrated developer and operator of multifamily housing headquartered in Boise, ID, has appointed industry veteran Dan DeMitro as its first President of Roundhouse Communities.
The newly created role underscores the company’s next phase of growth, strengthening its operational platform while advancing its mission to put humanity into housing.
DeMitro brings more than 25 years of multifamily experience with respected firms including The Irvine Company, Carmel Partners, and Holland Partner Group, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of Residential. In that capacity, he oversaw more than 20,000 units across major U.S. markets.
“Dan is a proven leader with deep operational expertise, strategic vision, and a genuine people-first approach,” said Casey Lynch, CEO of Roundhouse. “His leadership will be instrumental as we scale one of the nation’s premier multifamily platforms.”
As President, DeMitro will oversee property operations across Roundhouse’s growing portfolio—now exceeding 10,000 units in 57 properties throughout the Western U.S.—with a focus on operational excellence, resident experience, and sustainable growth.
“I’m honored to join Roundhouse at such a dynamic time,” said DeMitro. “I look forward to building on the company’s strong foundation to deliver exceptional living experiences for residents and outstanding results for our partners.”
