Cohen & Steers Names Seth Laughlin Head of Real Estate Strategy

Cohen & Steers, Inc. (NYSE: CNS) announced today the appointment of Seth Laughlin as Senior Vice President and Head of Real Estate Strategy & Research. Mr. Laughlin will lead the team responsible for identifying and analyzing long-term and secular real estate investment ideas, as well as heading an integrated listed and private real estate strategy function that helps investors optimize portfolios both strategically and tactically. He reports to Jon Cheigh, President and Chief Investment Officer.

Mr. Laughlin joins Cohen & Steers with over 20 years of real estate experience. He most recently served as Managing Director and Head of US Market Research at Green Street, where he led a team responsible for research coverage of the top 50 US real estate markets. Prior to that, he was Head of US Institutional Equities at Green Street. He also worked as an Equity Research Analyst at ISI Group, covering residential & storage REITs, and as an Institutional Equities REIT Sector Specialist at Merrill Lynch.
