Clean energy advocate will lead Company’s project development efforts

TurningPoint Energy (TPE), a leader in community solar development in the United States, is pleased to announce that Mike Marsch has joined the company as Vice President of Development. In this role, he will lead TPE’s project development efforts.

“Mike is an exceptional leader whose work has helped define the future of agrivoltaics and community solar. Bringing him onto our team is a tremendous win for TPE, and we’re excited for the expertise and energy he’ll contribute,” said Adam Beal, Executive Vice President of TPE.

Mike is a respected clean‑energy leader with deep expertise in solar and battery energy storage development, responsible land use, and agrivoltaics. He currently serves as Director of the Solar and Farming Association, where he was instrumental in founding and growing the organization to represent the emerging agrivoltaics industry. He also serves as a board member at All In Energy and previously served on the Board of the Coalition for Community Solar Access, the solar industry’s leading national voice.

In his prior role as Chief Development Officer at BlueWave, Mike guided the company’s evolution from a startup to a nationally recognized clean‑energy developer, overseeing the origination and development of gigawatts of community solar and energy storage projects. He also played a central role in transitioning BlueWave’s community solar services business into Perch Energy and led the company’s policy, offtake, and marketing functions.

“I’m thrilled to join TPE and help advance the company’s leadership in community solar, agrivoltaics, and energy storage. It’s an exciting time for the industry and I look forward to working with the team to deliver real value to communities and the grid,” said Mike.

Mike holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he was named the John S. Long Outstanding Student in Real Estate, and a BA from the University of Southern California.
