Build-to-Rent Housing Community, Amplify Tomball, by Ascendant Development Targets High-End Tomball Market
Construction has begun on a 170-unit luxury townhome community in one of Houston’s fastest-growing suburbs, marking a significant expansion of build-to-rent housing in the region.
Ascendant Development recently broke ground on Amplify Tomball at 17318 N. Eldridge Pkwy. The development sits among homes valued between $500,000 and $1 million-plus, offering renters access to high-end neighborhoods and top-rated public schools.
“This development meets growing demand for flexible luxury housing options in Houston’s suburban markets,” said Richard Owen, principal of Ascendant Development. “Residents get the benefits of an upscale neighborhood without the long-term commitment of homeownership.”
The three-story townhomes range from 1,020 to 1,390 square feet, featuring one- and two-bedroom floor plans. Each unit includes integrated parking garages, granite countertops, modern kitchen backsplashes, luxury vinyl plank flooring and energy-efficient appliances.
Community amenities include a resort-style saltwater pool, fitness center with yoga studio, gourmet kitchen, game room, clubhouse and dog park.
Pre-leasing is scheduled to begin in mid-2026. Rental rates have not been announced.
